"Phil Bergren wrote this song with me. He gave me this song driving past the studio one night on his way to the bar. 'Here, fuck with this.' He said, with one verse, most of a pre-chorus and a chorus. Ten minutes later, i called him and told him, 'we got a song.'" Initially tracked on a cold rainy day after some of the boys had been at a funeral. Several of the funeral goers wound up at the studio and were hangin in the control room during the demoing. I swear i can still hear them on this cut, the guilty know who they are..."
